Slash pays tribute to guitar pioneer Les Paul

Former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash [currently with Velvet Revolver] has paid tribute to the late guitar innovator Les Paul, who passed away August 13.
Musician and inventor Paul died aged 94 due to complications arising from a bout of severe pneumonia in a hospital in New York.
Slash released a statement to honor Paul, describing him as “brilliant“.
“Les Paul was a shining example of how full one’s life can be, he was so vibrant and full of positive energy,” he said in the statement. “I’m honoured and humbled to have known and played with him over the years, he was an exceptionally brilliant man.”
