TTK – How to Chain Guitar Pedals & Stompboxes – Pedalboard

October 18, 2009 by

There is no right or wrong way to set-up your pedalboard chain, it’s good to experiment and find what is best for you and your personal sound. Here is an excellent video by The Tone King giving solid advice about how to chain together your guitar effect pedals.

I pretty much follow this advice and it has works well. Personally, I place the ISP Decimator (Noise Reduction Pedal) before the Delay and Reverb.

I will sometimes use a wah pedal and contrary to usual advice prefer to have it last in the chain. So everybody is different and looking for their own unique sounds, that’s what make us gearheads. Watch the Video –
