It would work if all the specs line up but the sound would not necessarily be the same. the tubes works in juction with the speakers so if you want a Mesa Boogie sound you should use the same speaker and tube arrangement. P.S. Mesa Boogie rocks, my buddy has a half stack but I use the Steve Vai Legacy half stack by Carvin
