amt-distmachine-guitar-distortion-pedal-reviewAMT Dist Machine — With four banks of four programmable patches, the Dist Machine analogue distortion pedal gives you up to 16 overdrive and distortion sounds at your command. That’s a lot of versatility n such a tiny box, but there’s no compromise in tone.

The AMT DistMachine is an analog distortion with digital control functions and effects parameters memory. The device has four banks (banks A,B,C,D), each of which has four programmable patches (patches 1,2,3,4) for storing user sounds. In fact it means that the owner of Dist Machine DM-3 has a quick access to 16 patches with various effect parameters customized from the users favorite styles. The Dist Machine DM-3 is capable of producing slight transparent overdrive in classic rock n roll style, to screaming heavy metal distortion type. It is the best of all the AMT Electronics pedals in one unit!

All factory tone settings can be copied from one patch to another (COPY function), changed as required and store to any patch (SAVE function) of any bank. Here we provided UNDO function, i.e. the opportunity to undo the last move and return to the previous one within the programmed patch. Besides, all factory distortion settings can be reset (RESET function). The friendly user interface of Dist Machine DM-3 makes it simple to master the tone parameters editing, storing and copying techniques. Moving from one bank to another, from one patch to another or to BYPASS position is accomplished by means of two multi-functional foot switches.

Musician's Friend

All these functions make Dist Machine DM-3 indispensable during live performances when a guitar player needs to switch among the distortion types without bending and stopping at exact moment. DistMachine DM-3 is the first device to incorporate new types of foot switches providing the device durability and switching reliability. In order to monitor the current status Dist Machine DM-3, AMT incorporates a string of multicolored led indicators. They reflect all functions and parameter values of the device beginning from bank and patch number to all parameters that are being changed at a given moment.
Update: This is a discontinued product.
